American Banjo Museum gears up for family fun with Americana Fest, June 18th

The American Banjo Museum is gearing up for a fresh new celebration that we hope to see become an annual event, Americana Fest.

Americana Fest is a musical event for the whole family. Scheduled to appear are local favorites Willow Way and Bread & Butter Band along with Memphis’ own Side Street Steppers. Our outdoor children’s stage will be led by KAUT-TV’s Lucas Ross. The outdoor area will include musical crafts and activities, summertime treats, sing-alongs, along with other surprises.

We also have a line-up of great door prizes that we’ll be drawing for throughout the day, including a night’s stay at the Bricktown Holiday Inn Express, gift certificates to the Bricktown Brewery, family passes to the Crystal Bridge at Myriad Gardens, an annual family membership to the Oklahoma City Zoo, passes to the Bricktown Canal Water Taxi, and many other prizes. The grand prize will be a drawing for a Deering Goodtime Banjo!

Tickets for Americana Fest are just $10 for adults and children 15 and younger are free with a paid adult.

Please, mark your calendar for a day full of great music and family fun!
